I was certified as a McGown teacher in 2016. I have taught 2 workshops dealing with light and color to create depth. I have written articles and had my rugs in both ATHA and Rug Hooking magazines. In addition, I have been honored twice to have my rugs featured in Rug Hooking Magazine’s “Celebration of Hand Hooked Rugs.
In addition to individual instruction, the class will cover a variety of topics to include but not limited to dealing with light by using value and color, fancy stitches to embellish your rug, rug finishing, and how to plan to “paint” your wool for backgrounds or scenery. We will discuss the “dos and don’ts” of background planning. There will also be a mini dye class to be held with Gail Becker (optional attendance).
Join me and we will work on your skills to transform your rug into the extraordinary.

Hope to see you there for a great time! Barb
